IMPORTANT INFORMATION CARBON FIBRE STABILIZATION POLE

WHEN ADDING TENSION TO THE STABILIZATION POLE, DO NOT TIGHTEN THE HIGH-TENSION LINE MORE THAN 4 Kg. or 10 pounds.

THIS WILL BE MULTIPLIED 16 TIMES THE LENGTH OF THE POLE 4.88 METER OR 16FT TO 64 Kg. or 160 pounds.

Over tensioning the stabilization pole will break the stabilization pole and may not be covered under warranty.

ORIGINAL PWC TOW RING

MUST BE REPLACED WITH THE MAGIC MARINE TOW RING.

A Custom MMT Tow Ring for Sea-Doo, WaveRunner, Jet Ski, and Two Hole Custom Adapter for Two Hole Dinghies is included. Dinghies with a "D" ring do not have to be modified.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

READ BEFORE USING THE MAGIC MARINE TOW

A quick video installation guide can be found on our website.

www.magicmarinetow.com

Shut off Valve; This pertains to Sea-Doo' s, WaveRunners and Jet Skis. A shutoff valve must be installed before towing with the Magic Marine Tow to prevent water from being forced into the engine while towing. This is a requirement of all manufacturers. (Not a requirement on dinghies)

We recommend the installation of a shutoff valve to be done by an authorized dealer.

Do not step on the front connecting plate to try to mount the PWC.

Do not allow riding while towing PWC under any circumstances.

Safety Locking Pin must be engaged on the tow plate before towing any PWC.

MMT HINT: Place your key near or on your shutoff valve. In this way

you may never forget to turn the shutoff valve on or off.

MMT HINT: when mooring, disconnect front of PWC and allowed to drift behind boat still connected with the

from the Stabilization Pole. Make sure to release the tension on the line to the pole

Instructions for Dinghies/Tenders Sea-Doo's, Waverunners and Jet Ski's

Instructions for Baseplate attachment are the same for Dinghies/ Tenders, Sea-Doo's, Waverunners and Jet Skis. PLEASE REFER TO OUR VIDEO ON OUR WEBSITE.                              www.magicmarinetow.com

Sea-Doo, Wave Runner, Jet Ski and Dinghies: Require a Magic Marine Tow Custom Tow Ring. It is included with the Magic Marine Tow device.

Two Hole connectors on some dinghies require a Magic Marine Tow custom tow ring. This is included with the Magic Marine Tow device if ordered at the same time.

Dinghies with a "D" ring connector do not require an MMT conversion tow ring.

It is recommended that a float switch and pump be installed to prevent flooding of your dingy/tender.

It is recommended that a force of 8-10 lbs. or 4 Kg. be applied to the tension line when attaching to the PWC. Adjust as needed.

Do not exert undue tension on the Stabilization Pole as this can cause premature failure and is not covered under warranty.

To prevent the Stabilization Pole from forming memory, release the tension when not towing your PWC.

The Magic Marine Tow is a towing device, not a mooring device.

Steps Before Insulation of Baseplate

Before installing the base plate, consider where it would be best to be positioned on the swim platform. The base plate must be placed horizontally on either the port or starboard side of the middle of your swim platform. Think of where your PC will encounter the least amount of turbulence when in full plane. The base plate must be on a flat surface as close to the edge of the swim platform as possible. If you have a ridge at the edge of your swim platform, you may need to raise the base plate, so the front connecting plate that connects to your PWC clears the swim platform. A spacer plate can be purchased at our website, underparts. This will raise your baseplate by ½ inch or 1.27cm. This will be enough to clear the rise on the back of the swim platform in most cases. Check to see if this is the case or if you require an additional spacer plate.

Clean the area where the base plate is to be installed with a cleaner, such as acetone. Do not use Windex or other cleaners that could leave a film.

Hint: A children's swimming pool is great to have when working around the water. Slide it underneath the swim platform, and anything that may fall can be easily retrieved.

Insulation of the Base Plate (view video on our website)

Time to install approximately 30-45 minutes.

Step One: place a long straight edge along the edge of the base plate to help you judge the parallel alignment of the base plate to the back of your boat. Drill your first pilot hole using the base plate as a guide. Drop a bolt in the first hole. Ensure that the Magic Marine Tow engraving is facing the back of the boat, not the water.

Step Two: drill a pilot hole in the opposite corner. Put the 2nd bolt in that hole.

Step Three: Drill the remaining pilot holes using the base plate as a guide, dropping bolts in the holes as you drill. Check the fitting of the baseplate.

Step Four: Remove the baseplate and redrill three-quarter inch or 1.91cm holes for the toggler bolts (wing nuts)

Step Five: Use a high-grade quality sealant such as 3M Marine adhesive sealant 5200. Squeeze caulking into drilled holes. Take wing nuts and push the metal wings into the holes through the caulking. Place finger through the top of the round hole of the plastic guides and gently pull up till resistance is felt from the wing's underneath. Slide down the plastic V shape until it encounters the swim platform. Make sure that the toggler wings are engaged with the underside of the swim platform. Caution: Do not pull excessively on the plastic ring. Carefully break off plastic railings, leaving a plastic V shape holding the toggler wing to the underside of the swim platform. Each wing with a bolt can hold 745 pounds or 338 kg.

Step Six: Clean the underside surface of the baseplate with acetone and apply the sealant to the swim platform covering the outside areas of the holes. Apply sealant to the base plate within ½ an inch or 1.3 cm of the edge of the base plate.

Step Seven: Place the base plate onto the swim platform. Remove any excess sealant. Take each bolt and apply Loctite to the threats. Put one bolt into the base plate holes, gently guide the bolt down to the wing nut, and finger tighten.

Insert the remainder of bolts through the holes, gently guide the bolts down to the wingnuts, and finger tighten.

With an Allen key, randomly tighten bolts a little at a time so as not to distort or twist the base plate. Check the tightness of the bolts each time you use the Magic Marine Tow.

Congratulations! You've now installed the Magic Marine Tow baseplate

Attaching your PWC to the Magic Marine Tow

Note: PWC refers to Sea-Doo, WaveRunner, JetSki, and Dinghies/Tenders Spray a light lubricant such as WD-40 onto the base plate.

Take assembled Master Block, Swivel Head and bring the front connecting plate up in a vertical position for ease of handling. Start to slide onto the base plate. Make sure the black quick connect pin on the master block is in the upright locked position. Once you start signing the master block onto the base plate, release the black quick connect and allow it to engage as you slide the master block into position. Take the front connector tow plate and tilted forward, letting it go into the water.

Bring the master block swivel head to an upright position. Take the tension line at the base of the Stabilization Pole and thread it through the master block swivel head and making sure the line comes underneath the nylon roller.

Place the Stabilization Pole into the opening of the vertical master block swivel head, making sure that the black quick connect pin is engaged and locked into place

Bring your PWC parallel to the back of your swim platform. Attach a safety line securing it to the boat to prevent your PWC from floating away.

Remember to turn your shutoff valve to the off position

For all Sea-Doo’s, WaveRunners and Jet Skis.

Attach the fabric strap in a loop to the back of the seat handlebar. If you have handgrips attached a fabric strap on both sides, they come together over the seat, then attach this to the snap hook connected to the high-tension line.

For Dinghies/Tenders

Attach the fabric straps to the back of the dinghy D rings. If D rings are not available, attach them to the motor mounts of the outboard.

Attach the fabric straps to the quick connect hook at the end of the high-tension line.

Bring the tension line along the middle of the PWC to the front of the PWC to prevent tangling.

Attach the front tow plate to the MMT to the replacement tow ring, which is supplied with your device. Make sure that the front connecting plate is locked securely. Put the safety pin into the hole of the tow plate, which will prevent the tow plate from opening when towing your PWC.

Raise a section of the Stabilization Pole, making sure each section is locked with a Stainless-Steel Ring Indent Pin. Once secured, release the black pull pin on the side of the master block and lower the fully extended Stabilization Pole. At the same time, pull the extra line out of the base of the master block swivel head.

Pull-on the tension line with light pressure, which will cause the Stabilization Pole to bend slightly towards the PWC.

Hint: As you use the Magic Marine Tow, you will find the best tension for your PWC. It is best to start with a small amount of tension. Once you have established the amount of line/ tension you require, take a marker, and mark your line as a reference point.

To Detach your PWC, release the tension line and bring the Stabilization Pole up into a locked position. Remove the Stainless-Steel Ring Indent Pins, carefully dropping all the pole segments. Take the tension line and pull the PWC parallel to the back of the swim platform. Open the water intake valve if required. Pull the safety pin out of the front connecting plate, pull on the quick connect release handle. Get onto your PWC and enjoy your ride, never having to leave your PWC at the dock.

With practice, you will attach and detach the PWC between 4 to 6 minutes.
